About QuoteSnack

QuoteSnack is a labor of love. These quotes make me think and encourage me to feel deeply, and I hope they do the same for you. Unlike most quote databases, or even quote books, quotes will be attributed to both an author and a specific source.

QuoteSnack on Plurk is more or less inactive right now, thanks to the lack of a functioning WordPress plugin. When Plurk comes back the QuoteSnack plurks come back. Support QuoteSnack

Some quotes and related designs are available for purchase on T shirts and other items, through the QuoteSnack CafePress Shop.

QuoteSnack is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. If you see a link that can be associated with an affiliate program, it’s probably associated with an affiliate program. However, though I do like money, being an affiliate does not change what I write. I see these links as a service to readers and any income is a side effect of that service.

All Quotes Are Attributed

Some quote repositories share content that is copied from other places, but not verified as having come from the original author, with the original author’s general wording. Each and every quote that appears on QuoteSnack has been tracked down to its source. Any editing for punctuation and grammar will be done with the utmost respect for the original author’s work.

Privacy Policy

I don’t share user information in any way. I do track user behavior through analytics software, but will never use the sort of software that extracts personally identifying information. For instance, I may be able to detect your browser resolution, but I don’t have your email unless you gave it to me or used it to subscribe to my mailing list or RSS updates.

Wherever possible, QuoteSnack will show quotes in the context of how they originally appeared.

Advertising on QuoteSnack

I am open to advertising that is directly related to writing, reading and literary culture. This is a mid-sized blog, getting from 15,000 to 30,000 pageviews a month. I charge $1.50 per thousand impressions for a 125×125 ad, with a three month minimum. On a 15,000 pageview month that’s $22.50 a month. Commit to six months or more and for the fourth month onward I’ll lock in a monthly rate that is equal to the lowest of your first three months. Contact me if interested.
